Operational surgery or discectomy is the most frequent operational surgery of hernia disc or a protrusion on lumbar spinal vertebrae column. In this method, a part of the disc that puts pressure on the root of the nerve is removed.  The entire disc is removed in some cases.



   Lumbar disc symptoms
  • Backache
  • Tingling or feeling of insentience of one leg that usually begins from hips or back of the knees and spreads to groin, ankle or foot gradually.
  • Weakness of specific muscles of one or both feet
  • Frontward groin pain
  • Deep muscle pain and spasm of muscles 
  • A pain that passes hip and leg and spreads to ankle or leg because of the pressure on sciatic nerve
