Endoscopic DCR
Tearing is the most frequent problem of oculists’ patients and the obstruction of nasolacrimal duct is the major cause in adults. Surgery is the treatment of this disease. It is done in two methods; external method and microscopic and endoscopic method. Endoscopic method is less aggressive and has no surgical scar on face. DCR surgery done by endoscopy is called Endoscopic DCR that in comparison with external surgery, it has no skin scar and less pain and hematomas. Possibility of simultaneous treatment of internal nose diseases can be an appropriate replacement for external method.
