In fact, hernia is the protrusion of an organ and it can be in many body organs from brain to abdomen. There are different kinds of hernia and every one of them has its own characteristics. Methods of treatment are different.


    Inguinal hernia
   This kind of hernia is because of weakness or tearing a part of lower abdomen wall and prostration of gut under the skin of abdomen is appeared. It often goes toward inguinal canal or scrotum. This kind of hernia is usually seen in men.

   Its outbreak can be:
  • Hernia family history
  • Cryptorchidism
  • Heavy weight
  • Chronic coughs
  • Chronic constipation and much pressure when discharging
  • Enlargement and inflammation of prostate
  • Pressure when urinating

   Hernia symptoms:
  • Pain in groin area that is more painful when bending or lifting heavy things.
  • Painful protrusion lump in children
  • Painful protrusion lump of groin or scrotum

   Abdominal hernia
   Opening the wall of abdomen and protrusion of its contents are called abdomen hernia. The main cause of abdomen hernia is the weakness or defect of the abdominal wall or increasing pressure on that area. The main cause of hernia is pain.


   Frequent reasons of abdominal hernia are:
  • Old age
  • Existence of diseases like asthma and chronic coughs
  • Lifting heavy things
  • Immature birth of a child
  • Being male infant and congenital dislocation of femur head 

   Femural hernia 
   It is the protrusion of the viscera on the upper part of the leg and close to the groin which is caused by entering of a small part of intestine into the femur canal.

   Symptoms of femural hernia:
  • Chronic constipation
  • Chronic coughs
  • Obesity
  • Lifting heavy things
  • Enlargement and inflammation of prostate
  • Feeling pain on upper area of leg when lifting heavy things
  • Standing 
  • Coughing
  • Pressing
